INDIA HAS NOW BECOME THE VOICE OF GLOBAL SOUTH - DY CM DIYA KUMARI
Jaipur : Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari today met the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Dennis Francis at City Palace. On this occasion, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Indian Foreign Service officer, Ruchira Kamboj and United Nations Resident Coordinator, Shombi Sharp were also present.
 
Diya Kumari said that during the discussion on various international and contemporary issues, the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations praised India's foreign policy under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the G-20 summit chaired by India, India's help to many countries of the world during the Covid-19 epidemic and raising voice against the ongoing wars around the world.
 
Deputy Chief Minister further said that the entire world is impressed by the efforts being made by the Hon'ble Prime Minister for the overall development of the Global South. Prime Minister also gave the slogan of 'One World, One Family, One Future' in the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' in the G-20 conference and is trying to unite the world through the International Solar Alliance. Diya Kumari also talked about the heritage conservation in detail on this occasion.
 
President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Dennis Francis is on a five-day visit to India.
